About The Cinderella Pool
For each entry you will pick 10 teams in the men's NCAAB tournament. These are your teams for the entire tournament. Each time one of your 10 teams wins, you get the number of points equal to its seeding.
Example: A #1 seeded team will get you 1 point for each win, while a team with a #7 seed will get you 7 points for each win.
If #1 seeded “ABC” College wins the National Championship, you would only get a total of 6 points by picking them. You would get a better score if you pick #7 seed “XYZ” University and they win just one game. If they win 3 games, you would get a nice 21 points for that pick. If they lose in the first round, zero.
Picking Cinderella Teams is the name of the game! You want to pick the team(s) you think will upset other teams and remain in the pool for several rounds. Strategy plays a big part; Pick too many bad Cinderella teams, and you could get shut out if they don't win. Pick too many favorites, you may not get enough points for it to matter, even if you win a lot of games.
Rules
THE PLAY-IN GAMES DO NOT COUNT. The tourney starts with the round of 64 (Thursday). The person (entry) with the highest total of points at the end of the tournament with their 10 teams, wins.
No duplicate teams in one entry, please double check your entries to ensure you have entered 10 different teams.
Tiebreaker: Total combined points scored by all four number 1 seeds in the first round
$20 per entry. Maximum 5 entries.
